This gorgeous garter snake is a first sighting for Deer Fern BB. The days are cooler, so any heat is welcome for this little creature. Will put together a few rockeries for safety. Can't see a negative in having them around. Our cats are indoors and no ferals. The compost (which is far away from the house) would bring in mice and rats, seems like a win-win for us and the snake. Not so much for the mice....
Good days to vacation. The children are back in school, leaves on the trees are starting to change colour and the rain brightens the green of the forest. Come visit the Sunshine Coast. A true West Coast experience.
