My heart just sunk today when I saw the triplets had flown the coup. This photo taken just last night and I never had time to say good-bye nor good luck. There is a bright spot, they are on the forest floor, mom and dad still looking out for them and no cats near by. If you knew then, what you know now, wouldn't you have stayed just another day, your 47 meals and a warm bed? Yet, no, gotta get out and see the real world. Kids.....My guests today were so sympathetic, they have 5 acres in Ontario and swallows nesting near the house, so they totally understand the excitement of new life close by. Our job as the stewards of the forest continue to be rewarding.
