These are the "Fraser Blues". A wonderful airshow right in our view. Interesting enough, we had a pilot stay that day, was the show was for him? Well, maybe not. This week-end, July 28, 29 2007, our local Sea Cavalcade is happening, they were practicing for this event. No matter, it was a gas to watch.
We have had unprecedented rain this July. Something like 40ml. It is very wet, however, warm and a delight to sit outside. The clouds have hung around for some time now, maybe we will see blue skies today. I hope so, just so my guests can dry off.
Between the deer the slugs and the rain, my garden is exhausted. All my buds have been either eaten, nibbled or crushed. I feel lucky to see green leaves and those are the ones the deer don't like. About 40 years ago, the last owner of this property planted ivy, the ivy has taken over about half of an acre and I can't control it. If the deer are this hungry, I say eat ivy. But no, so many other delectables to devour.
